There are just a few days before the 25th IUCr congress starts and so we would like to share with you some practical information that might help you to navigate yourself smoothly to the congress.
Before your departure, please check the current restrictions and conditions regarding travelling to Czech republic.

Importantly, the conditions of testing and self-isolation when arriving do not apply to persons fully vaccinated even from red and dark red countries. See the list of countries according to the level of risk.

We recommend also to print out the official invitation letter, we added the option and you can now download it in the main menu in Conftool. It might be helpful during travel checkpoints.

When you reach Prague, to get to the Prague Congress Centre (PCC) please use subway – metro – and take the red line C to the station Vysehrad.
You will receive a free of charge public transport ticket for the time of the congress, but please mind that until you check-in at the registration desk, you are obliged to pay for the public transport yourself. You can buy the tickets with a credit card in buses and trams and before the entrance of the metro.

Please do not forget to bring your passport or ID for the registration.
Please be also prepared you will be asked to prove a document that you are infection-free (vaccination, test, covid in last 6 months). Details of the document requirements are available here.
